Welcome to The Black Boy, Winchester.
Looks like the government have closed us down again, so sorry about that.
We don’t know all the details for the re-opening, but there are a couple of things that we do know:
Firstly we will not be running a reservations system, it’ll just be pot luck as to how busy we are. Secondly we will definitely not be doing any food (unless the government say we can’t be open without food).
Hope this makes sense and we look forward to welcoming you when we re-open.
Tucked away on Wharf Hill, off Chesil Street in Winchester, The Black Boy is still faithful to its origins. Although recognised in most of the well known beer and pub guides, it is still a traditional back-street boozer.
The pub has 5 locally brewed real ales and a small selection of good French wines.
On the off-chance there is a summer, there is a sheltered rustic garden with heaters.
Opening hours are currently:
Monday – Friday: 12:00pm – 2:30pm & 5:00pm – 23:00pm
Saturday: 12.00pm – 00.00am
Sunday: 12.00pm – 22.30pm
